Most other sling packs are designed to be worn over one shoulder only; or, if they are ambidextrous, the shoulder strap is attached to the center of the pack, which makes it sit on your back at an odd angle. To alleviate this, many packs have an awkward shape resulting in wasted space.
The DEFIANT Sling Pack eliminates these issues. The ambidextrous shoulder strap connects to low-profile anchors, allowing you to sling it over whichever shoulder you choose. The pack will sit comfortably and naturally on your back, and its rectangular profile maximizes cargo space.
A stabilizer strap secures the pack to your body when you need to move fast and stows out of the way when you don’t need it.
A pass-through, concealed weapons compartment permits you to securely store a handgun yet access it easily from either side. Loop-lined panels work with our pistol holster and magazine holder (both sold separately) and allow you to customize the setup to your preferences. This compartment is padded to protect your firearm from bumps and your back from chafing. Perhaps most importantly, there’s no need to remove the pack to draw your weapon. Simply rotate the pack in front of you, grasp the easy-to-grab zipper pull, zip open the compartment, and draw your weapon.
The DEFIANT sling pack is adaptable to a variety of environments. Headed to the office? A separate, padded sleeve will hold most laptops or your tablet computer. Going for a hike? Ditch the computer and toss in a hydration bladder.
The main compartment has a clamshell opening so you don’t have to pull all your gear out to get to the stuff at the bottom. The flap of the main compartment has three, zippered mesh pockets to organize your smaller stuff. These pockets are perfect for first aid items, bike tire repair kits, charging cords, or small notebooks.
The exterior pocket is lined with loop fabric for further customization. A strip of elastic loops will hold one rifle magazine, two pistol magazines, and two pens. A slip pocket on the front will give you fast access to boarding passes or other items you need in a hurry.
The lashing straps allow you to quickly stash a warming layer, trekking poles, or a camera tripod.
Four drag handles, one on each side, provide plenty of convenient carry options.
Pack is constructed of water-resistant, 1000D Cordura nylon and MIL-SPEC webbing with 400D nylon lining.
